Narrative simply means story. Stories can be fictional and any number of sub-genres such at fantasy, romance, action, historical, etc. Stories can also be non-fiction accounts of real events, personal or otherwise. Sites I haven't checked out(but plan to) on the narrative process are called The Writing Site, The Web English Teacher, and a Kent State compilation of additional narrative-writing websites. Please add your own sites.
The following are student and teacher examples of narrative in action.
A fictional, Japanese style novella about a group of gifted government alchemists and their mock and real battles with others, with themselves, and within themselves.
A non-fiction recollection by one young man on the power of tobacco in his life.
